Insert for Episode 1 of "Forever Single" |
I completed episode 1 of, "Forever Single." I am excited with the progress the characters are developing their own identities. The "you" character is getting to know one of her love interests, Jason (the rockstar in the cover art). We also discover there is something awry with her boyfriend, excuse me her ex. The first episode introduces the character and the new world they find themselves.
I have not outlined the second episode; however, I have a clear idea where I want it to go. I have a few goals or milestones I want to hit for the second episode. I am enjoying writing this story it just seems to flow. I envision the story in my head. I can't wait to complete the first 3 episodes, so I can publish it. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoy writing it:)

I need to stick to "brass tacks" like Coach Swanson or Karl would say;)
I am supposed to discuss one of my favorite stories I have ever written, "It is Not What You Think!" It is a demanding story because the characters are strong and have identities I must respect. It is taking longer to hit story milestones that I planned. I created outlines for the episodes that flew out of the window once I started writing them in the app. I think it is more important to be true to the characters motivations and behaviors rather than rush to get to plot points. Let me know what you think!

I am forcing myself to take a break on "Forever Single," because I am eager to finish chapter four of, "It is Not What You Think!" Let's face it is time to get those kids to New York. I am hoping to have them in New York by episode 5. Here is my confession: I planned to have them in NYC by episode 2. I working hard to make it happen by episode 5. I keep redoing the outlines.
Episode 4 requires me to draw both Rake and Rice in football gear for the gems choice. I am currently earning a Master's Degree in Visual Development. In other words, it means I draw until I bleed, and my hands cramp up. Please understand I love to draw. My Wacom Tablet and I are inseparable. I will catch up with the drawing for episode 4. I just sometimes get lost in the writing aspect because I need a break from drawing.
Today I am a bit long-winded, therefore I will end it here. Thank you for reading my episode blog post:)
As always I greatly appreciate your feedback and comments!
Enjoy the Weekend because I know I will:)
When in doubt just dance:)
Please check out the first story, "It is Not What You Think," I published on episode.
